Comparison - Shot by Shot remake

I think that the remake of The breakfast Club was similar to the original make in many ways. The opening credits in which the starts with was similar as the remake includes ;

  • NAME OF THE STUDIO

  • NAME OF THE PRODUCTION COMPANY

  • (PRODUCER NAME) PRODUCTION or/and (director only) A FILM BY (DIRECTOR NAME)

  • STARRING

  • (FILM'S TITLE)

  • FEATURING

  • CASTING or CASTING BY

This was done in the same order as the original make, this making it a similar comparison.
The location in the opening scene of the remake was of the same location-  at a school/college, this being another comparison to the original- as it made the remake more of a resemblance.

In the remake we used toy cars to act as real cars as we tried to make it more similar to the original as possible. We felt as if it was better to use a toy car and be a 'real' car rather than to completely change the type of transport, e.g.; by using a scooter, bus or a bike. As for the actors, we used the same dialogue as the original make and acted out parts in turns.

Overall, the remake and the original have more similarities than differences, however the remake being more on the modern side.
