Binary Oppositions

Binary Oppositions are contrasting theories that can be used in story lines and plots. Binary Oppositions are established in teen film openings for example the idea of evil/good; good vs bad. An example of a teen film which features this could be in Slumdog Millionaire where there is a good brother and a bad brother. Another example is Wizard of Oz where there is the idea of reality vs appearance, and this being a binary opposition.
