Skills I've learnt

Throughout this whole experience of filming, editing and making this short film I've learnt many skills. I've about safety of camera equipment, new software I now know how to use such as Final Cut Pro, Motion, Prezi. Also, the use of blogging I learnt how to add images and GIFs onto the blog and YouTube videos.

Blogging Process:
We've had to blog throughout this whole experience, it is very important to keep on track and keep up to date. I have uploaded many blog posts such as progress reviews, so I know where I'm at and I can go back to it and see what I have yet to do. I have also been taking many pictures of what we've done and editing sessions that we all had a go at doing. We've also had to blog about what music we've chosen through creative commens which we did change many times. This is was difficult as we had to find a song that we all liked as it was a group effort and everyone had to agree also make sure it was copyright free.

Filming Process:
I think the best part of this experience for me was the filming it was fun and we learnt many different angles to shoot and how to get a steady shot using tripod, fig-rig also the JVC camera and flipcam. We also learnt about safety precautions such as taking a big umbrella so the camera doesn't get wait which was particularly important as whilst we were filming it was raining. Also locking the camera into place and getting the perfect shot. We filmed many different shots such as, pan out, tilt, high/low angle shots. When we were editing we used jump cuts.

Software's I used:
There are many different software's we used to make our film what it is and included in our blog posts. For example, the main one I think would be Final Cut Pro which I used to edit our film. We also used Motion for the production company. We also learnt how to use timetoast to make timelines and prezi which is used to make presentations.
