A teen film that I watched over the holidays was John Tucker Must Die (2006). This film follows three teenage girls (Ashanti, Sophia Bush, Arielle Kebbel) who plot revenge on the basketball team captain John (Jesse Metcalfe) who has been dating all of them at the same time. They enlist the help of the new girl in school (Brittany Snow) to help get their revenge.
The genre's of this teen film are comedy and romance. There are a number of typical teen film locations are used in this film such as the: high school gym, classrooms, bedrooms, kitchens and school halls.
There are a number of different stereotypes in this film such a: The jock and the nasty cheerleader however some of the characters are not represented in the typical stereotypes.
