Representation

Representation is abut understanding the choices that are made when it comes to portraying something or some one in a mass media. Certain aspects such as personality and appearance are used to represent a person a certain way and often leads to stereotypes.
Stereotype is a generalisation of a a certain group of people, or to put people into categories.
